Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Wonder Journalist (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses the Service.

2. Description of Service

Wonder Journalist is an AI-powered tool that helps journalists and content creators transcribe audio recordings, generate articles, and produce social media content from spoken-word media. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Payments for Wonder Journalist subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service in addition to these terms. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected).

4. Refunds and Cancellations

You may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase or renewal by contacting us at daniel@wonderjournalist.com. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.

5. User Content and Media Uploads

You retain full ownership of any audio files, transcripts, and other content you upload to the Service (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant Wonder Journalist a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you (e.g., transcription and article generation). We do not sell, share, or use your User Content to train AI models.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to upload and process the media you submit, including any consent required from individuals whose voices appear in recordings.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
• Circumvent access controls or share account credentials
• Generate content intended to deceive, defraud, or harm others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access at our discretion if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, warranty disclaimers, and liability limitations) will remain in effect.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wonder Journalist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Spain, unless applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
